Art & Mind Symposia

A series of private dinners (by invitation only)

Art and Mind, in close collaboration with GV Art, is hosting a series of private dinners (called the GV Art and Mind Symposia) for people with a direct involvement in the art and science dialogue. GV Art is an organisation for contemporary art which aims to explore and acknowledge the inter-relationship between art and science. These dinners are designed for around 30 invited guests, and include a short presentation by a guest speaker which stimulates a conversation around the table. The guest speakers are very distinguished practitioners in their fields and the conversations which follow each presentation are invariably of great interest. A record of these events is now freely available, as part of the remit of Art and Mind is to present such discussions to the general public. These records start at Symposium 9.

These pages, where possible, will not only host a report of the presentation and some record of the following conversation, but also include relevant links to augment the information available. They also include a list of guests, associated web site addresses where applicable.
